2021 - 2022

The 2021-2022 school year is destined to be a challenge in our quest to being a platform for student voice.  However, our group feels like they are up to the challenge.

 

During our Virtual Welcome Back to School Assembly, our Executive Officers continued building upon our school's theme, "Live Aloha," with a Welcome Back video.  We also met our new faculty and staff members, and then heard important news from various role groups in school.

 

After editing our Student Council Handbook, we looked for ways to raise our school connectedness through Spirit Weeks, Unity Day activities, Turkey Grams, Christmas Door Decorations, Holiday Cheer grade level video sharing, and New Years Resolutions.  

 

By discussing student concerns such as proper restroom usage and raising school identity and pride, the Student Council continues to find ways to have all students feel like they are an important and valuable part of the Moanalua Elementary family.
