My name is Ms. Irene Bayudan and I have the pleasure of being your child's 4th grade teacher for the school year 2020-2021.

 

A little about myself- this school year will be my second year teaching 4th grade.  Prior to this I was a fifth grade teacher for a total of three years- two at Moanalua Elementary and one year at Lanakila Elementary.  I am a jack of many trades, and hopefully I have mastered some. I enjoy gardening and cooking ( two new hobbies I've picked up thanks to the CoVid stay-at-home orders), working out (I'm really into MMA), reading informational texts, playing my keyboard, spending time with my dogs, and hanging out with family and friends. 

 

Last school year was quite a whirlwind- with the abrupt closing of physical school and the jump into online learning.  It was a challenging time for all- as children had to adapt to a new way of learning, teachers had to adjust their way of teaching, and parents had to become teachers, all while we tried to cope with the CoVid-19 pandemic and government mandates that have altered our daily lives.  These are truly unprecedented times.  However, please know that we are in it together, and despite our circumstances we will continue to move forward- putting one foot in front of the other. 

 

Though many things are still uncertain, please know that your child is my top priority and I will do my best to provide them with a well rounded education.
